New Research: Orchid Conservation in El Cielo
WildShare International has received a grant from Orchid Conservation International to continue work on an integrated plant conservation-community development project in El Cielo. This will include research on several rare orchids within El Cielo, as well as the creation of a conservation education program at the El Cielo Botanical Garden and Arboretum. More ► |

New Program: Sustainable Palm Initiative
We have formed a new program focused on the conservation and sustainable management of palms. The initial focus will be on the conservation and management of Chamaedorea (xate) palms. This work will focus on conducting applied research and developing monitoring protocols and sustainable management guidelines. For more information contact us.
