Biocultural Conservation in the Peruvian Amazon We are working with four indigenous Maijuna communities in the Peruvian Amazon, who established an organization called FECONAMAI (Federación de Comunidades Nativas Maijunas) in order to conserve their culture and environment. WildShare International is supporting projects on language preservation, sustainable management of natural resources, and the acquisition of the Maijuna traditional land base.
